Members already do this informally — a text to see if "your people" can help someone they care about. The Guest Pass turns that favor into something real: a proper coordinator, a proper consult, and the same standard of care you get, extended for one occasion.
A real conversation members already have — now with an actual benefit behind it.
Why this exists as a formal benefit
Without it, this favor happens off the books — a coordinator quietly helping a member's relative with no consent on file and no record of what was done. The Guest Pass makes it official: the guest signs their own authorization before anyone acts on their behalf, and the benefit shows up as something members can point to, not something they have to ask for as a favor.
How It Works
Four steps, and the second one isn't you.
Once you redeem your pass, the process moves to your guest — because it's their appointment, their records, and their consent that makes it possible for us to act.
You redeem your pass
Log in to your Health Portal, choose "Redeem Guest Pass," and tell us who you'd like to cover.
Your guest creates a free account
They get an invite by email or text and set up a no-cost guest profile — just enough for us to reach them.
They sign two forms
Terms of Service, and a HIPAA authorization naming Compass Health to coordinate care and speak with their providers — for this occasion only.
We coordinate the one appointment
Matched to the right specialist, appointment booked, records requested — the same process members get.

The Guest Pass is generous, but it's specific. Here's exactly what it covers and what it doesn't.
Eligibility
Who qualifies
- —Sponsoring member must have an active Compass Health membership
- —One Guest Pass per membership, per membership year
- —Guest must not be a current or former Compass Health member
- —Guest may be a spouse, family member, or friend — no relationship proof required
Required Paperwork
What the guest signs
- —A free Guest account with basic contact information
- —Compass Health's Terms of Service
- —A HIPAA authorization allowing us to coordinate care and communicate with providers on their behalf, for this occasion
What's Covered
What one pass includes
- —One coordinated appointment or navigation request — a specialist match, a booking, a records transfer, or a second-opinion setup
- —A dedicated care coordinator for that one occasion
- —Does not include ongoing care management or a second occasion
After the Pass Is Used
What happens next
- —Unused passes don't roll over or carry a cash value
- —The sponsoring member isn't clinically responsible for the guest — our coordinator works directly with the guest once consent is on file
- —Additional occasions for the same guest are billed at the standard À La Carte rate, or the guest can join as a member
